We appreciate your willingness and enthusiasm to volunteer for the 2012 Big Ten Football Championship Game. At this time most volunteer positions for this event have been filled, but we still need volunteers to help us with our Community programs at Gleaners Food Bank and the American Red Cross.
Welcome to the 2012 Big Ten Football Championship Game!
The Big Ten Football Championship Game will feature the champion of the Legends Division facing the champion of the Leaders Division, with the winner earning the Big Ten Championship and a chance to play in either the Rose Bowl Game or Bowl Championship Series National Championship Game. The 2012 Big Ten Football Championship Game will begin at 8:17 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and will be televised by FOX Sports.
Indianapolis will be packed with fans from the two participating universities, in addition to sports fans from across the country who are excited for this marquee event.
In addition to the Championship Game, the Big Ten Fan Fest will take place at the Indiana Convention Center on game day from 10 a.m. until kick-off. The Fan Fest is a ticketed event open to the public, while your championship game ticket includes free entry to Fan Fest. There will also be twelve local restaurant pairings featuring the Legends and Leaders divisions.
The Big Ten Conference and Indiana Sports Corporation have entered into an agreement to host Big Ten Football Championship Games at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis through 2015.
Whether a veteran volunteer who takes pride in Indianapolis and exceeds all expectations just like the city itself, or a new volunteer with new ideas and energy, we are searching for those who will make our guests remember their unique experience in Indianapolis.
